Hunts Ramblers has its very own very active WhatsApp group. This gives members the chance to chat about walks, share experiences and offer/request lifts.
Messages will be automatically deleted from the group after 7 days.
Feel free to ask for help if you are having difficulties using WhatsApp.
Purpose of the Group
- Discussion about the upcoming walk.
- Walk Leaders may want to put a point across after the recce.
- Announcements of last minute changes to the walk, such as in response to adverse weather conditions.
- Offering or requesting a lift to a walk.
- Sharing pictures of recent walks (please do not include images of children).
- Sending messages of thanks or comments from the last walk.
- Messages from the Committee.
General Conduct
- Keep posts simple and straightforward.
- Messages should always be kind and courteous.
- No buying, selling or links to private or public events.
- Admin have the right to remove spurious posts and remove people from the group if they do not follow our simple rules.
How to Join
New Ramblers members will receive details of how to join in their welcome letter.
